Had a delightful stay during the holidays. the hotel was in a remote location perfect for a romantic getaway. the food was well presented with lots of alternative options.

Everything was simply high quality. Thoroughly enjoyed every detail about our lovely 2 nights stay here. Booked a room where classical music was playing. Perfect location and very attentive and helpful staff were a definite plus.

Your staff is warm and friendly. You offered us a terrace room upgrade at a lower price than posted and we appreciated that. The room was so beautifully appointed with antique furniture and we liked the two sinks in the bathroom. Thank you for installing the handicapped handles in the tub. You dinning room is excellent. We liked everything we ordered. The lighter order of a salad with a smaller main entre is nice. The duck confi coupled with the caesar salad was perfect. Both of us loved the mushroom/artichoke soup. Our friends told us we HAD to stay at BenBow and we certainly agree with them. We will certainly recommend BenBow to our friends.

We would suggest that the carpet in room 111 be replaced. But even if it were not, We would stay in that room again. We loved it.

The room we had included a work desk, coffee and tea making facilities, and flat-screen television. The personnel was very attentive and helpful, and the host too...

The location was beautiful. the room was vintage and tidy. the room came with cool air blowing from the vent. the room had a private balcony. Classical music was playing.

It was a very picturesque place to stay. The sherry in the room was a nice touch.

Bathrooms were up-dated, but very low water pressure. It took a long time for the hot water to come up to temp.

Going back into time. The furnishings, the antiques, the style, all makes you feel relaxed, unstressful and not wanting to leave.

The place was clean, stunning, and the restaurant served excellent food with exceptional service.

The room is brand-new and with a balcony and a terrace. Efficient service and the food is GOOD. Besides, it offers free wifi to guests. The location is very scenic and convenient, the check in is early. The hotel is in a very very nice area.

My wife and I were there to celebrate our 25 anniversary. My wife and I really enjoy the history, accoutrements, and the restaurant of the Benbow Hotel and Resort. The rooms are very well apopointed and the sherry is a very delightful touch. Once I was ablode to gain access to our room it was very restful.

We found mold on the bottom of our shower curtain. Additionally, there was a banker dinner in the fabulous restaurant; however the noise was too distracting from our romantic anniversary dinner. I have very limited mobility and going up and down the stairs, even to our second floor room, was very painful and arduous. We had stayed there last April and found the access to the new wing rooms to be much better for me. Having no experience with climbing the stairs to the second floor, I believe that a better response to a person who states that they have limited mobility would be to better explain how steep the stairs are, how many steps there are and how many turns are needed to up the stairs. There was a lady there that we talked with that also had severe mobility problems and she told us how painful it was for her to go up and down the stairs. I now have that experience and will be able to make a more educated decision when I am offered a room at the Benbow Hotel and Resort. I will only stay there when I can be assured that a room is available in the new wing.

The rooms were incredible with all the necessary amenities including a work desk, tea/coffee making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. the staff were super friendly and attentive. the location of the inn is majestic and cool! .

I liked the fact that you accommodated the marathon runners and had breakfast early. I also really like the location and the general relaxed atmosphere and grounds.

I thought the staff could have done a better job of informing the runners about the fact that breakfast would be served.
